Esta claro que si España agrupa sus fuerzas en Cuba y no en Filipinas marítimamente España hubiera ganado la Guerra, pues Estados Unidos no tenia ya más barcos no tenia que mandar a Filipinas.

No, amigo Luis, a los americanos les sobraba material belico naval de primera clase para enfrentarse a una debil y decrepita marina con buques en malisimo estado de reparacion incluso algunos sin terminar y otros no completamente artillados. Aunque Estados Unidos hubiera enviado a Cuba la mitad de lo que envio y la otra mitad a Filipinas, la victoria siempre hubiera sido americana, desde luego, esto no le resta a los españoles el increible valor y hidalguia como bien usted dice.
Pero desde el principio, era como decimos los cubanos: "De leon pa mono y el mono amarrao" (dicho del argot callejero que significa que la desigualdad es inmensa)
